Doug Hamilton.

President / Owner

Doug Hamilton began his construction career in 1981 after graduating from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with an honors degree in Construction Engineering. His professional development spans the full spectrum of engineering construction. From his beginnings as a pipe layer for Soiland Company, his skills quickly grew to where he was managing multiple and concurrent multi-million dollar projects in his 13 years of service with NBC.

Doug’s commitment to the construction industry has twice garnered him the prestigious “Contractor of the Year Award” from the Northern California Engineering Contractors Association (NCECA), where he has served as the association’s President. He shares his construction knowledge teaching Construction Management through the ECA and at Sonoma State University. His commitment to the industry is matched by his company’s commitment to community, which includes volunteering both personal time and company’s assets to a wide variety of community service organizations and projects, every year.

Our management team has extensive experience in all aspects of site work construction in both public works and private works. Oak Grove’s team approach assures in-depth involvement with each project and every client will receive the attention and expertise necessary for their project to be truly successful.

John Dietz.

Office / Accounting Manager

John came to Oak Grove Construction with more than 10 years of experience in construction industry accounting and office management. He is the one that oversees the daily accounting activities including but not limited to the financial reporting, cash management, accounts receivable and payable transactions, management of vendor accounts, closing activities, human resources and payroll, and manages various compliance demands.

When John isn’t taking responsibility for the smooth operation of the office, including all our needs related to staffing, technology, and procedures, He is probably out trekking. John is comfortable on a long trek traversing through the High Sierras, or more locally, wandering his favorite trails throughout Sonoma and Marin.

Amanda Berry.

Estimator/Project Manager

Amanda is Oak Grove Construction’s talented Estimator/Project Manager.

Christina Berlanga-Gonzalez.

Christina joined Oak Grove Construction in 2015 and has taken on the important tasks of Payroll, accounts payable and assisting the daily tasks including working closely with the Accounting Manager, project manager and owner. She continues her education in the construction field with related courses at Sonoma State University.

When Christina is off she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking the Sonoma County Trails and most importantly cheering her daughters on in Soccer, Cheer and Dance.
